The product range is vast: from highly sophisticated microchips to large ocean liners. Cars, tennis rackets, tables, iPads, TVs, washing machines, telescopes, shoes, garments, toothpaste, drugs, tower cranes... The processes are diverse. Some are labour intensive whilst others use mainly robots for precision and highly repetitive applications.
